A strong lower body means strong performance. Think about it: If you want to change direction in basketball or football, where does that move originate? It may be controlled by the core, but it’s performed by the lower body accelerating and decelerating. The lower body also contains some of the largest muscles, so not only will you build a strong and solid foundation with this workout, but you’ll also burn more calories than almost any other muscle group. In short, never skip leg day!
